  • Regional Coordinator of 2009 AIA Ohio/Habitat for Humanity of Ohio’s Affordable Green Home Design Competition and subsequent presentation at USGBC Green Build 2011
  • Served on the Energy Task Force in helping to create the 2008 Climate Protection Plan as part of the Mayor’s Green Cincinnati initiative.
  • Team leader during a charrette for the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood on January 2008, sponsored by the Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Preservation Association, and AIA Cincinnati. Approximately 120 people attended the charrette.
  • Chair of the Cincinnati Chapter of the AIA’s Committee on the Environment (COTE), 2007
  • Organized and coordinated the AIA 150 sustainability program “Greening the Gap”, a public workshop for the City of Cincinnati’s Fort Washington Way deck covers, August, 2007.  Approximately 80 people attended the event.
  • Recipient of the AIA Cincinnati 2007 Chapter President’s Award for serving as the COTE 2007 chair, developing the first Cincinnati Sustainability awards, and for serving as the AIA 150 “Greening the Gap” public charrette event chair.
