Winner of a Lutron Electronics 2005 Excellence Award recognizing its innovative wireless lighting control system, our goal was to make this facility universally appealing to both younger and older club members with a sophisticated new look of mahogany millwork, enhanced lighting, and added amenities including a new wine cellar and bar.
Working within the framework of the existing building, the space was molded to offer a variety of dining experiences, ranging from a casual wine tasting to formal private parties. In the main dining room, a custom-designed banquet takes center stage, offering a variety of opportunities to accessorize seasonally or for special events. The banquet also serves to subdivide the otherwise open space, creating a more intimate dining experience.
Special attention was paid to illuminating the space with decorative fixtures for ambient effect along with adjustable recessed lights placed over each table. The wireless lighting control system allows the wait staff to raise or lower the light level at individual tables to suit guests’ specific needs.
