Contemporary Ranch and Walk Out

This new residence combines the familiar forms and materials of hip roofs, stucco, and stone to project a refreshingly modern feel.

The rear elevation is an expression of the desire to experience the views and capture the southern light provided by the orientation of the house.

The rear of the house opens up to the site both functionally, with a broad covered porch highlighting a panelized bamboo ceiling and walk-outs from the lower level, and visually with large window panels.
