Kitchen Renovation

These Clients described the existing kitchen in their 1970s California contemporary home as “the most dysfunctional kitchen in the world” with its 12” deep countertops and inefficient layout.  The success of this remodeling required the removal of the bearing walls that were at the heart of the space. The need to support two new wood beams became an opportunity to feature the Client’s art glass on adjustable shelves that span the two stainless steel columns that were integrated with the island.
